The purpose of the Society is to foster interest in the culture, history and language of Wales.  We seek to encourage fellowship between people of Welsh descent and those interested in Wales and Welsh life, to preserve the history of the American-Welsh in Iowa and to establish connections with other Welsh-American organizations.

VIDEO: Fears over of turbine proposals
Although it is not one large windfarm there are claims a collection of planning applications for single turbines in Pembrokeshire will have much the same visual impact. Some people living close to Princes Gate Spring Water near Narberth say the company's application for two turbines has now sparked a host of other proposals.
